KEC has launched the Oil and Gas Pipelines EPC business in line with the Government’s thrust in the sector and our strategy to diversify the business portfolio into adjacencies. The business focusses on the construction of Oil & Gas cross-country pipelines in India as well as in international markets.

In October 2021, KEC acquired Spur Infrastructure Private Limited, an Indian EPC company engaged in setting up of cross-country oil & gas pipelines and city gas distribution networks. KEC’s proven project management capabilities and extensive experience of executing cross-country linear projects and managing Right of Way (RoW), along with Spur Infrastructure’s technical knowhow, experienced manpower and relevant pre-qualifications enables the Company to capture lucrative growth opportunities in the oil and gas cross-country pipelines EPC sector and accelerate the business’ growth.

In the last three years, KEC Spur Infrastructure Private Limited (formerly known as Spur Infrastructure Private Limited) has achieved an annual turnover in excess of Rs. 100 crore and possesses a profitable track record. The company is executing prestigious projects for marquee customers such as Indian Oil Corporation Limited, (IOCL) Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL India), IHB Ltd., Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) and Bharat Gas Resource Limited (BGRL).

KEC Spur Infrastructure has successfully completed 12” x 190 kms Mainline, HDD and composite works for Patna-Siwan & Siwan-Motihari sections, part of the Patna-Motihari-Baitalpur project (PMBPL), for IOCL

Presently, the Company is executing various projects such as the Tundla-Gawria pipeline project for IOCL, KGPL pipeline project for IHB Ltd., Sultanpur-Jhajjar-Hissar pipeline project (Spread-A) for GAIL India and BGRL projects for Ahmednagar/Sangli gas authorities. Additionally, KEC Spur Infrastructure is also executing City Gas Distribution projects for IGL/Torrent Gas & Think Gas.
